24th Feb 2009 (Tuesday)
2nd Match
Venue : Jurong West Stadium
Gombak Utd vs Superreds
Result 1 – 0 (Lose)
Despite dominating most of the match, there is no cutting edge at the front line of the team and no off the ball running. Start to miss the running, shooting, defence spitting passes & dribbling skills of Seo Su Jong, Oh Ddog Yi, Moon Soon Ho, Kim Jae Hong, Choi Wan Geon, Park Mun Ki & Shin Hyun Ho.

1st Match,
Yishun Stadium
Superreds vs Young Lions
Result 0 – 0
Before the start of the match, the 2009 team of Super Reds player was introduce to all the FANs before the kick off. They were each holding to a soccer ball that was supposed to be given to the FAN. During the giving of soccer ball which had the signature of all players, I was pointed out by No 25 Joo Ki Hwan to receive his ball, as I was anxiously getting down the stairs, who know from out of nowhere, a middle age Chinese guy steal the ball from Joo Ki Hwan's hand and during the process pushed Joo Ki Hwan whom knocked his arm against the railing. This is a disgust act by a fellow Singaporean. The player had already pointed out who he wan to give the ball to but a Kiasu Singaporean instead disgracefully stole the ball and at the same time pushed the player.
During the match Super Reds didn’t perform well as last season and didn’t kick off the season with a victory. The match ended in a bored draw. The match was braced by the arrival of VIP, MP for Ang Mo Kio GRC/Nee Soon South Miss Er Lee Bee Wah who is also the adviser for Super Reds Football club and FAS President and Senior Minister of State for Law & Home Affairs, A/P Ho Peng Kee, Hopefully Super Reds will get the 3 points in the next match at Jurong West Stadium vs Gombak Utd on 24 Feb 2009 (Tuesday) @ 1945hrs.

12th Feb 2009 (Thursday)
1945hrs, Tampines Stadium, Charity Shield 2009
Our Team captain of 2008’ No 19 Yun Bo Young & who had been playing for SRFC since 2006’ No 17 Jeon Byung Euk was selected to be in the team of Foreigner Selection vs Local Selection. No 17 Jeon Byung Euk was in the starting 11 and subsequently replaced by No 19 Yun Bo Young in the beginning of second half.
Team Foreigner Selection vs Team Local Selection; scoreline 2-0.
No 19 Yun Bo Young scored the 2nd and final goal for Team Foreigner. It marks the return of Yun Bo Young in our football scene after missing from action since he was badly injured in June 2008. I hope that he will continue to create and score goals and led Super Reds to another successful season in 2009.
I bumped into Park Mun Ki and Kim Jae Hong outside the stadium after the Charity match. Saw them together with the club Chairmen Charlie Yoon. Chatted with Park Mun Ki in simple English and was told that they were here on holiday and won’t be playing for super reds for this season. I was so sad after hearing that because both of them are the key players that led Super Reds to be the 1st Foreigner team in S-league history to clinch the 1st runner spot in 2008. Deep in my heart I am thinking, will Super Reds continued to perform like last season without this 2 main key players, who one is a rock in the centre path of the defend and another roaming down the left flanks with pace and scored few stunning goals with his sweet curling left foot.
Anyway, there is a saying in Chinese “天下无不散之宴席”. I will always remember the hardworks and glory that they had given to the club and brought entertainment to the Fans with their drizzling football knowledges and skills.
Park Mun Ki & Kim Jae Hong, Gam sa hab ni da. Wish both of you all the best.
